Mac & Wild Land Rover Dining Experience

Mac & Wild Land Rover Dining

Last November I won an awesome competition on Instagram with two fabulous prizes. Firstly a shopping voucher for the gorgeous Really Wild Clothing where I could go into the Sloane Square store and choose something I wanted. I did this just before Christmas and had a lovely afternoon sipping champagne and trying on lots of lovely items. I settled on the beautiful Belted Gatsby coat (seen below).

The second part of the prize was a Land Rover dining experience at Mac & Wild, Devonshire Square, London. We got to dine in the specially modified Land Rover which is parked in the atrium outside the restaurant. It’s decorated with fairy lights and there are blankets and hot water bottles to keep the chill off.

The menu is compact but with a good selection of Highland inspired food.

We started with cocktails which were delicious and then chose from the menu which has a Scottish theme given that the restaurant started out as a street food stall selling Scottish Fayre before growing and opening two restaurants in the capital as well as having another restaurant in The Highlands. They have won multiple awards including Best Signature Burger in 2016.

We ordered various selections from the menu with a selection of sides. I ordered Haggis Pops, Wild Fizz and the Venimoo Burger which were all excellent followed by a Scottish Affogato (whisky instead of Amaretto!).

We had a fantastic afternoon and the food was so good we’ll definitely go back. If you would like to book the Land Rover Dining Experience at Mac & Wild, you can find details on their website.
