October is one of our favourite times of the year so around half term we try and do as many fun Autumn activities as possible. Halloween at Waddesdon Manor is always great fun. In fact they have a great calendar of events for all the school holidays and even if you don’t want to do those, it’s an absolute pleasure just to walk the grounds and take in the fresh air.
We went to do the Dread Book Trail and there’s two different versions, one for older kids and one for younger kids depending on which type of clues you want to solve. You can also do pumpkin carving and go into the story tent (a giant igloo!) for some reading.
The weather was absolutely incredible to visit on Sunday. The trails and pumpkin carving are at The Stables so stay on the bus until the next stop or walk down through the woodland playground. There’s also plenty of food options down there.
Beware of the giant black widow!
A beautiful Autumn floral frame to take your selfies in!
Halloween at Waddesdon Manor was a kindly gifted trip. All opinions are my own. See some other UK adventures here.
