When Xander turned 6 I noticed a big change in the clothes on offer on the high street. It went from colourful cute prints to block colours mostly red, navy and black with the odd slogan t-shirt thrown in. Meanwhile in the girls’ section, the colours and prints just keep coming.
When you want to dress your child a little bit more individually it can be quite a challenge finding items that are a bit different which is why I love Mini Boden. Their quirky prints and bright colours are the perfect antidote to a boring wardrobe plus their sizing is really generous (we once got 3 years wear out of a top!) and the clothes are very good quality.
When Xander saw this top with planes on he was totally sold and ever since it arrived it’s all he wants to wear. We teamed it with brown cords and the most amazing blue leather high tops with a silver stripe on the back. Perfectly individual!
