A couple of weekends ago we attended Chilli Fest at Waddesdon Manor. I’ve seen it advertised every year but I’ve never been yet because I’ve usually been working. This is very much like their Summer Fest but not as big and more centered around food.
We attended on the Sunday and once again it was super busy. I didn’t take my own advice from my previous post and rocked up without chairs or even a picnic rug duh! Even though lots of seating is provided it was choc a bloc. If you’re not into spices don’t worry, there’s plenty of food offerings from pizza to duck wraps and everything in between.
Special shout out to Fenlands Distillery who had some incredible gin on offer. I tried a raspberry gin and tonic (boy was it good!) I could have drunk a few 🙂
Probably the best thing about the whole day is just the atmosphere. Everyone was enjoying themselves in the late Summer sunshine.
Let’s talk about the entertainment – the Mariachi Band – Beato Burrito were awesome and they had an acoustic stage with plenty of acts all day. All in all it was a super family friendly fun day out which we all enjoyed immensely. Can’t wait for next year!
This was a gifted PR trip from Waddesdon Manor, all opinions are my own.
