Leaf Peeping at Harcourt Arboretum

Harcourt Arboretum

Well as Autumn is well and truly with us I though it would be fantastic idea to go and visit Harcourt Arboretum and view the colours. I wasn’t disappointed although on arrival I was told that the leaves are really late turning this year and that’s absolutely true.

Yes nestled amongst the greenery nature’s true beauty was definitely starting to show through. From yellow through to red and many different hues of blue it really was a most wonderful sight to behold.

Ferns at Harcourt

There were so many ferns to see, some still green, some having turned a beautiful shade of russet and i just love the contrast between the two.

Autumn Harcourt Arboretum

This reminds me of a box of felt tips, put in colour order, all the greens together.

Acers at Harcourt

The Acers had already turned a brilliant shade of red which contrasted beautifully against the many green leaves.
